Wrinkles

Life gets busy -- there is always something going on, that's for sure. We've had some beautiful weather here lately, almost too hot for March (complaining already?!) but it's cooled off a bit the past few days. That makes it perfect for this time of year. I've had a round of sickness -- cold that turned into pneumonia and bronchitis so I'm on antibiotics and steroids for that. (maybe I'l lbulk up! ha!) Starting to feel like I can see the light at the end of that tunnel, thank goodness. It is certainly true that you need to lose your good health for a bit to be grateful for it - I will be so happy to feel good again.

Natalie took this picture of me with Lucy and I love her little face -- but I hate my wrinkly eyes. ("Grandma said the 'h' word!" Sorry kiddoes!) I know I've earned every wrinkle I have -- lots of smiles and laughing as well as too much sun and too little sun protection. The things we learn, right?!

Anyhow, it took me to this little cartoon which put a happy spin on it -- I can wear wrinkly clothes too because I coordinate!!

Have a happy week - I plan to, cold, wrinkles and all.

What a sweet picture! Kaitlin said I said "the h word" the other day. I am thinking my head "what I didn't say hell" then it dawned on me what she meant. I am so sorry you have been sick. Glad you are on the mend. :)

Where are you that it has been "hot"???It is BRRRRRRR!!!!! here!
Hope you feel better soon...! I happened to have my glasses on today when looking in the mirror (I usually don't - for a good reason) and came face to face (ha!) with some new wrinkles!! Well, that will not be happening again soon. Although my fav nurse at the doctors (annual today) told me I looked great and haven't aged at all. Ah, it is the small things that count in life. Feel better from another Jan who is in love with her 2 yo grand-daughter.

To cute! I love that little girl so sweet and always wearing a smile. Love the comic strip, it is amazing how fast those silly wrinkles show up. You are always a joy and we love having you part of our lives!!

Glad to hear you're feeling better! I, for one, was extremely glad the day shorts weather showed up. I hope it comes again soon!

Oh I am loving the weather right now, especially in the evenings taking walks. :)

I love and adore each and every one of your wrinkles. If I can be half as beautiful as you are when I am your age I will be beyond fortunate. Love you Jan!

You look fantastic. I'm hoping the world will start to embrace aging as it should, not only am I getting older and not sure if I can handle it...but it just gags me to see people trying too hard to be something they aren't. All things in their season, right? Great picture.
