This is a mystery to me. Always has been, always will be. Anybody have an answer to the eternal question?

I have documented proof that you can gain 8 pounds in a week, so I don't doubt that it's possible. Especially if you're having plumbing issues.

There are so many scientific reasons for this (and they don't make ya feel any better!) but all I will say is that it's a lot easier consuming calories than cutting them!!
