Catching Up

One thing I love about the blogging world and the amazing network that is Facebook is how you can find and re-connect with people. We have lived in so many places and met so many great people -- and lost touch with a lot of them.

It's been so great to find some of them and be back in touch. It really makes my heart full and happy when that happens.

Check out this picture: this is me with 4 of my former Beehives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I have known where some of them are but hadn't really had any communication with any of them for a while. There's one that I still don't know where she is or what she's doing. But I have been back in touch with the others because of Facebook and blogging.

I love it!

And I love our '80's hair and my big glasses too.

I LOVE the retro photo!!! We have been so blessed with this technology. I live so far from my family I can extend our distant relationships via the internet. I have some Reunion pages for genealogy purposes for my family. If you ever want to check them out...look on my Home Sweet Home page for the surname links. Thanks for sharing the RETRO pic!

Facebook still scares me, but how fun to be back in touch with people from the past (well, the ones you WANT to be in touch with ;). I can't get over your dark hair and thick glasses. Such an 80s picture, and SO fun! You have blessed so many lives, Jan!

Too funny! Why do I remember us so much cooler than that picture? Glad my hair never looked like that....:)

Shame on you, Jan Mason, for posting that picture. WOW. There really was no bang too high, was there? You were such a cool leader... we lived to have fun with you.

I'm loving the internet these days, too. How did people ever stay connected without it?

Have you been able to find Sheri Jewkes? She's one that's MIA. I love that picture, it brings back sooo many memories. Memories of you are filled with laughter, personalized camp song (I still recall most of the lyrics to The 'leventh ward levites, we don't shring to fit) and snicker blizzards.
